February 14 is the day of love. Valentines day! The day where you get to express all the love you have for your significant other. As we get closer to this day, couples are starting to pop the question, ”Will you be my valentine?” We decided to ask some of the couples at Panther Creek questions about their partner and about the holiday in general. Although there has yet to be a couple who has popped the question, we are all excited for you to hear what they have to say and their plans for this special day. 

Mckenna Lester (9)  and Abigail Baker (9) are a ninth grade couple here at PC. Mckenna plans on buying Abigail’s favorite chocolates, flowers, candy all while making a proposal poster for her too! Fabian Davalos (10) also plans on asking Mackenzie Ramirez (10) with something cute and simple. “I want to get her flowers, her favorite chocolates, and a card telling her how much I love her.” Fabian said.

Another question we asked the couples was, “ what would their dream valentine’s day date be?” Our first interview was from a senior couple,  Zaria Vinson (12) who is dating Caleb Champion (12). Her response was that going on a trip to Florida with her boyfriend would definitely be her dream date. Ethan Osinowo (10) is dating Sandra Estevez (10) and they are planning on spending Valentine’s day together. We asked him what his dream Valentine’s date would look like and he gave us a very exciting answer. “I would pick her up, go skiing, and we would travel to the beach. When the sun sets I would ask, ‘Let’s go in the water’, and  then we would jump in the water and finally go home.”

I’m sure Valentine’s Day will be so fun for these four couples and for everyone else as well. We love to see the joy and love people spread around Panther Creek. Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone.
