At Panther Creek High School, Mr. Frederick stands out as an educator who goes beyond teaching. Known for his active involvement in both academics and school events, he plays a crucial role
in fostering a strong sense of community and school spirit. As a co-sponsor for the Student Council (STUCO), Mr. Frederick helps organize major school events such as Homecoming (HoCo) and prom. He also takes pride in attending various school performances and supporting students with whatever they’re
working on. “I like to go to school events, see performances, and really support the students with whatever they’ve got to do,” he says.

One of the most significant ways Mr. Frederick contributes to school culture is through his leadership in STUCO. In this role, he helps plan theme days, decorate the school, and set up pep rallies—activities that bring students together and create a fun, energetic environment. School spirit is vital because it creates a positive atmosphere, encourages student engagement, and makes school a more enjoyable place to be.
Through his efforts, Mr. Frederick raises the overall excitement and pride in Panther Creek, motivating students to get involved and make the most of their high school experience. In addition to his work with STUCO, Mr. Frederick is dedicated to his role as a geometry teacher. His
commitment to student success extends to academics, as he works hard to prepare his students for the PSAT and SAT. “I removed calculators from my geometry classes because I think that improved the way my students think and will definitely help them with the SAT in the future,” he explains. By encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving without relying on calculators, Mr. Frederick is helping his students build stronger foundational skills that will benefit them long after high school.
Overall, Mr. Frederick’s contributions to Panther Creek High School go far beyond the classroom. He is an essential part of the school’s culture, playing a key role in both student engagement and academic preparation. His dedication to the students and school community has a lasting impact, ensuring that Panther Creek remains a place where students are supported, motivated, and proud to be part of.
